Accelerated Analytics Expands Staff, Hires New Program Manager

BRADENTON, FLA. – January 21, 2016 – Accelerated Analytics announced today that Norm Kennedy has joined the company as a Program Manager. In his new position, Kennedy reports directly to Scott Garber, Director of Client Services and will be managing a portfolio of customer accounts.

Kennedy brings nearly 20 years of experience to the table. Prior to joining Accelerated Analytics, he was the Director of Business Development at an Atlanta-based branding agency. Kennedy spent several years as an Account Executive for DIY/hard lines merchants. As an Account Executive for Trex Company, Kennedy managed all aspects of the multi-million-dollar Home Depot account.

I am very pleased to have Norm join our team. His background as a merchant with The Home Depot as well as his experience with a national building materials company adds a wealth of industry experience to the Accelerated Analytics team,” said Chad Symens, President and CEO of Accelerated Analytics.

Kennedy is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.

ACCELERATED ANALYTICS JOINS GS1 US APPAREL AND GENERAL MERCHANDISE INITIATIVE POS DATA SHARING WORKGROUP

The Accelerated Analytics team is pleased to announce its participation in GS1 US Apparel and General Merchandise Initiative “POS Data Sharing Group”. GS1’s vision is to enable the Apparel and General Merchandise retail supply chain trading partner community to automate and integrate business processes and collaborate on a broad scale. The POS Data Sharing Workgroup will work to produce industry best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness for collaborating with POS data. This will result in increased ability for brands to react quickly to developing sales and inventory trends, increase accuracy of analysis and reporting, reduce integration and data handling expenses, and support effective collaboration between brands and retail merchants.

The GS1 US Apparel and General Merchandise Initiative is a retail industry group that is committed to defining business challenges and opportunities and organizing members to explore solutions and create adoption plans. More than 125 suppliers, distributors, retailers and logistics providers are participating members in Initiative activities, focused on improving inventory accuracy, exchanging standardized product data and achieving traceability with GS1 Standards.
